Default 1972 Datsun 510 Shell (NEEDS TO GO)

I was planning on doing a restore/VQ35DE Twin Turbo or Supercharge swap, but things change. I had half the parts from my G35 that I was putting back to stock. Being that I can't support two project cars I came to the conclusion that I need to sell my clean 1972 Datsun Wagon and keep my Galant VR-4. These car are very lite weight with a big engine bay that can fit almost anything you stuff in it. Most common swaps are L18's, L20's, KA24's, SR20's and VG30's. There is one VQ35 510 running around and some had the FJ20DET form the DR30 Skyline. For non-Nissan motors that been swapped are the F22C, F20C, 2JZ-GTE,7M-GTE, LS1,13B-REW, and the list goes on and on. If you know Datsun you know these cars are now quite hard to find in any reasonable condition let alone on the east coast.

-Well this wagon already sits on a pair of 280ZX front struts and lowering blocks on the rear axle along with a leaf spring delete.
-Along with 280ZX front brake setup and 240Z rear aluminum finned brake drums in the rear.
-Custom Rear Sway Bar set-up.
-The Seats are perfect, no tears or other damage, they just need a cleaning .The original vinyl door panels are in good shape.
-The front windshield has a new seal installed.
-Floor boards are good.
-Clean body, no body work needed. (besides paint)
-No cancer.
-Tons of parts (ex, metal rear hatch vents, Door sills, Grille, Taillights (one that one set), Headlights (one than one set), Heater cores, wiper arms, Speedometers, metal dash, chrome window trim, A/C Controls, door handles, gas tank and tons more.) All the parts fill the whole rear cargo area with the seats down.
-Clean VA title in Hand

First new car my parents bought. I was brought home from the hospital in an orange 510. That's a cool project for sure, good luck with the sale.

Bump and why a 1JZ? I don't understand the allure of having this particular engine. Your better off getting a 2JZGE and boosting it besides unless you getting a 2.5GT Soarer R154 tranny your going to have to mod the bell housing on the R154 because it's more than likely coming off a MKIII Supra with a 7M.

Yes I know this but why spend the money for a "almost as good as a 2JZGTE"? Your going to have to run the all the same components to make it work and yet... your getting less performance. That's almost like people swapping a GSR B18C1 into a Civic when you can get a Type-R B18C5 for the same or comparable price? I owned a Lexus Sc300 5-speed and I worked for Toyota/Lexus as a Master parts counterman... you don't get the aftermarket support on the 1J's and heaven forbid you need OEM parts. Very few cars actually came with 1JZ's compared to the cars with 2JZGTE/GE's.

Either way... Bump for a clean clean body just waiting for whatever fits in there
