I bought a built motor and installed a few months back. And I have a perfectly good stock motor taking up space in my garage now. It needs a new home or it will just sit there and go to waste. Plus I plan on buying a house here soon and don't feel like hauling it around.

I'd be all over it. But yea we already discussed this. Shipping is as much as the motor... Unless I don't mind driving 27 hours to come get it

I did. But at this point they can only get certified used motor from Nissan or Infiniti which costs 4.5k just for the motor at the minimum. I might as well go built if I'm gonna pay that much.

I told him to see if his current motor could be fixed. Like maybe it just needs some gaskets or some cheap parts + port/polish. Maybe 1-2g with a motor that he can trust.

These part places pick up cars that have real end collison for like $1000 or $2000 and part everything working out. $500 for the motor sounds more than fair.

Maybe a 1987 300zx but if you really think a parts place is going to pick up a low mileage 350z for $500 bucks....... Just because that's what you would pay for a full wrecked car doesn't mean that's what the real world pays.
