Hopefully my car will be out of the shop by then and i will have added a couple things on it, so i will be down with a meet most likely.

I enjoyed the last drive to the vineyards a couple weeks back...Im definitely interested in another drive!! Make sure to let the 'G drivers' know, dont leave us out!! I know startertan is a member on G35drivers, but dont know about any of you other guys.....will it be a Z/G drive, or just a Z drive....i dont want to invite myself....;o)..

 

This will definitely be another Z/G drive like the last one. vlm7 and startertan (even though you can't make it), if you can notify members on G35drivers about this drive (if you haven't done so already), that would be great! We've got to gather as many people as possible so we can take over the roads of NoVa/MD.

Been following the thread but silent given that the date isn't fixed yet. Assuming the weather is good, and nothing major comes up, I should be there (hopefully with a new exhaust on).

 

Either of those dates is good for me....I would also vote for the push as I can see myself falling asleep behind the wheel after a meal....

 

We'll have a firm date and time once the unofficial poll ends on January 1st. The drive route is still in the works, but I think if we can find some good driving roads in MD, we'll do that since the last one was in VA.

 

depending on the date and how disassembled my car is I should be able to make it. Hate that I missed the last one.

 

Well, it appears as if the winner is January 29th!

We'll start gathering at 12:00 PM and will roll out at 12:40. Where are we meeting you ask? I have no idea, none whatsoever. But we'll figure it out and get a meeting time, drive route, maps, etc. figured out with plenty of advance notice. I'm really looking forward to this one. I hope everyone has a chance to make it out. We'll keep it just short enough that it doesn't get boring, but long enough that it'll be worth your time. C ya!

 

what about a rain date?

 

The rain (or snow) date should be the following Saturday, Feb. 5th.

 

Hmmm....Rain date. I like Jesters idea of the 5th. My concern is that if it snows on the 29th, assuming the roads are dry, there is still going to be a lot of sand and stuff on the roads on the 5th and alot of people don't like to drive their cars in that stuff, especially in a "formation". Hopefully, the weather will agree with us. I guess we'll tentaively say the 5th, and play it by ear!

 

I'm game. I know a lot of great twisty back roads in northern MD if you need help coming up with the route. Also, I'd like to suggest that we all get walkie talkies in case the 'formation' splits up or someone gets lost.

 

Car is going in the shop tomorrow (thursday) so I thnik I can make this drive now.

 

hey guys, just stumbled upon this thread. I'd like to come and meet all you guys. Oh and if anyone needs a route planned for this or future drives, one of my friends from my old audi days has several drive routes for the area.
