Just my luck! I've been wanting to go to the track and see what times my Z can put down and also meet a bunch of you Z owners and I'll be in Florida that weekend!
It's bad enough that I'll miss my car but to miss track day as well... Maybe next one.

Thanks Ben,

I'll hopefully be stopping by AAM in the next couple days to pick up the complete fuel system. Can't wait to ditch the fuel sytem that came with the Vortech.

Not at all really... It is actually a pretty clever and functional fuel system that comes with the Vortech. The only drawbacks are fairly important ones though.
To run higher than 8 psi of boost the FMU and inline fuel pump are raising the fuel pressure close to if not above 100 psi. This is not good for your factory injecters. Also the FMU and inline fuel pump mount low on the cross member and it makes me nervous have it that low.
AAM's V2 return fuel system is optimal for performance and longevity for a highly modified engine.

Looks like I will be keeping the car after all. We decided to stick it out for another year or two at her parents house until she gets out of school. So now I am on the look out for building the motor again. I really would like to get a greddy lip for my car before this meet. Also, was wondering about that spacer of AAM's I have been missing, have not been on the site much so I have not heard too much about it yet. Does it make really good gains. If so I would love to purchase one for my next mod. I was looking at getting my tranny redone before all of the sale stuff came up and still am now that I get to keep it. Anyone going to the meet from the Tidewater area. I wanted to ride up there with someone because I have no clue were to go.

Ben, ends up that I'm not going up to Lake Placid this weekend, soooo....

If i get my car out of the shop and can get some miles on the new rear end, i'll be there

anyone got an address for this place so i can mapquest it? seems like i'll drive straight there (maybe w/ PumpedVA if he's still game) rather than driving up to DC and back (this is the MIR on the penninsula, right? there isn't some other super-secret MIR?)

thanks!

awsome man! which address did you want? i still have yet to post the address where we are meeting up at, at 8 in the morning. Ill get it asap though for you.

I know for a fact its on Commerce st in springfield VA. Close to a bunch of hotels and right across the ST from Springfield mall. Most people remember it after the Old Toys'R'Us...

Lemme also get the address for MIR for you.
