yeah we had to relocate, the Po-Po were on our cases....especially mine for my tints...i was a distraction while everyone made the get away....

i was one of the lucky G drivers that pulled up and exited my vehicle 'just as' FFX Co finest showed up. Asked me to walk over, with my license registration etc. Took my name, addreess, Social from my drivers license as well as my cell phone number?? Asked if we were a 'racing club', and I told him no its just a coincidence that about 30 Z's and G's showed up (almost all moded) and just so happened to all park in the same vicinity. haah, no seriously i just told him we a bunch of friends getting lunch, no club nothing. he just said i dont want to harass you but the guard asked u guys to leave and he speaks on behalf of the mall so i could get you for trespassing. "But I just got here, you saw me, how could I know of the guard etc'!! Anyways next time we gotta pick a less 'high roller' spot than tysons 2!! otherwise good meet! good to meet some other ppl!

 

Dam fairfax county anyways I think we recovered pretty good by going to tysons fuddruckers. Well we now know were not to meet and were we can meet without getting messed with. Anyways nice meeting you guys and I am looking forward for the the next meet.

 

It was great seeing everyone and their cars. I was the guy that dipped into PF Changs....gotta eat. I figured there'd be drama once we all got outside. Did anyone else feel strange walking 40 deep through the lingerie section of Macy's. Anyway, it was a nice spring teaser. I can't wait for the MIR track day. Yacoub, thanks for the nice words about my sedan.

 

seemed to me like the turnout wasn't too bad, after analyzing the situation:

-cops showed up on a sunday moring to a half empty parking lot w/no one doing ne thing stupid ie burnouts or "testing" their sound system
-somewhat cold and snow on the way
-fairfax county
-sunday morning

im just glad the guy w/the 05 coupe (sorry didnt catch his name) came through tysons or the g's would still be all alone on the top floor at macys. i regret missing the 495 run, something about moderate traffic in the afternoon scares me.

Man .. I had a good time guys Thanks.. sorry for almost getting everyone towed with my suggestion to go into the mall.. that guard was an a$$hole.

 

I hope you write that letter to the mall management. It's illogical that they would try to ticket/tow people who actually are going into the mall and shopping.

Maybe we should educate them about cars a little, so they can more accurately determine who will and who wont cause them a headache when meeting there.

We may run into this again somewhere else. Maybe we could get some sort of permit from management next time. In Clearwater, FL I had a great relation ship with the dealer. The service director would host G meets at the dealership. The customers loved it.

 

thats a good idea actually....i remember chris resler from the capital G club used to work there and he used to host the meets at the parking lot....only problem is that parking lot was tiny as hell...you could barely fit a dozen g's or z's in there...but ill look into it for other locations...maybe the dealers in the tysons area might be interested....who knows....i really like the fuddruckers parking lot also...but well see...ill look around when i get home this coming weekend...

yeah i beleive sundays could turn into a weekly thing or even every other week...were thinking about the chipotle place near springfield...kingstowne whatever i forget where it is but...me and juan were talking about it and we found ourselves going there almost daily :P i love the chicken burritos...im soo addicted now...i've even searched for them in NYC....im definatley in...ill start up a thread...

That's a good idea. I live pretty close to kingstowne and it's a great area to have a meet and plenty of parking spaces too
