My Z totalled by sleeping driver in Camry :(
Well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later. A car with this much body work was destined to be obliterated by something senseless.
A guy coming home from his night shift job in his Toyota Camry fell asleep at the wheel and crossed into oncoming traffic. There was nowhere for me to go as there were cars behind and beside me. He hit me at about a 45 degree front to back angle on the drivers side rear quarter panel. The impact pushed me into the car next to me and then my steering correction spun me around across my 3 lanes of traffic where I got T-boned on the passenger side by a panel van. Fortunately, I was already basically going sideways down the road, and the van was on the brakes, so the impact wasn't too bad. The van actually pushed my car down the road about 100 feet.
The right side of the car is basically crushed, the Vizage wing was actually ripped off the car by the idiot in the Camry and the left-rear wheel is all but folded under the car.
Amazingly, other than a stiff neck and a bump on the head, I crawled out of the car without so much as a scratch.
Like many drunks involved in accidents, the guy who hit me is completely unharmed, but very apologetic.
Guess it's back to the Ford Probe for awhile until this all gets straightened out with the insurance company.
Here's a pic of what's left of my poor car.....
Obliterated Z

You a$$hole...I almost felt sorry for you.
I had a feeling something was fishy because this morning was cloudy and you probably don't take your Z out unless it's sunny, or to a meet/drive...
Good one Kelly.

I actually drove the Z today. It's sunny here in Sterling, and if it starts getting nasty, it's a 6 minute drive home.

Kelly, you should be a superhero...you've got the superhero name and the superhero ride. Imagine this:
Kelly, "The Peenie Watcher", who prances around in his "Pink Powerpuff Girl Powered Z" who protects the Mid-Atlantic region from sleezeballs who forget to zip up their pants...sounds like a career change
.
Here's some payback for your April Fools
