Sunday Drive and BBQ ~April 17, 2005~
My fellow buckeye here has a nice little drive that I think we should all take a stab at. The weather is going to be beautiful all week, with Sunday being nothing but sunshine!! I would like to see if anyone is interested in getting together Sunday morning (driving in the morning is so much better, less traffic). We are going to meet around 10AM at the Target parking lot. From there we will head south on 95 and take the new "fun route". From here we should make our way back up into civilization and grab brunch/lunch somewhere. Should be a great time!!
Location: Target, Springfield Mall
Arrival Time: 0930-1000 hours
Hope you all can make it!
Let me know if someone has a food idea, and please keep parking in mind
I would love to hit up Old Towne Alexandria but there is NEVER any parking..

Hey Juan I was thinking that if we can get some others we should have a cookout afterwards if it's nice out. We could all end up at a park or something like that. Just an idea.

oh yeah I'm assuming we're talking about this coming Sun which would be the 17th? I'm going to check out this park over on Lorton Rd tonight to see if it might be a good spot to end up.

Id say that would be the time of the BBQ just getting started so for those that didnt want to go on the "Fun Run" could always come to the BBQ and go on a nice slow drive ( allow the food to digest) drive, We just need to find a good place that is nice and accesible for all the vehicles and has a BBQ grill ..
I tried calling the Parks and Recreation of Alexandria I think they are idiots ..lol
