Has anyone used the new Zaino Z8? It's supposedly a turbo-charged version of the Z6, and is NOT for regular use, but for times when you want to really shine your car up, like for a car show. I was thinkin' about getting some before the Falls Church show just to see if it works as well as they say it does. Stuff is expensive though...

I'm going to be getting some Z8 as soon as my friend gets it in. Hopefully early next week. I'll let you know.

LMAO
I found this thread highly amusing. While I like a good waxing and all, you guys have entirely too much time and MONEY on your hands. You say how much for a bottle of wax?

Speaking of which...I'm in need of a wax job myself...
Yes..I mean the CAR.

I don’t work well with a buffer but my hands are magical, especially along the elegant lines and curves; from the hard to reach places in the front to the curvaceous rear I can caress any flaw or imperfection to a lustrous glow from the owner...

<--- Man I crack myself up ... lol

Is it a mere coincidence that every time I subscribe to a thread it tends to tangent waaaaaay off topic until it is either leading to alcohol or sexual innuendo?

Boy, that sure is strange.....

Mike,
I wouldn't worry too much about wearing that flame suit...I think Zaino is a far superior product to any other wax that I have used, however it is hard to objectively evaluate and therefore should not start a flame war. Now had you said "I am 19 and I can't decide between an '05 track and '04 Enthus...yeah I work two jobs...sure I will mortgage my future for the next 8 years...but I deserve it because I get good grades" then we can talk about flame suits.

Brett (is trying to help deflect oncoming flames to Mike by rallying the troops around other more flamable topics)

F.U. you Meguiars kool-aid drinkin' !&!@#*(*(!*#$(^(!*#@$(*!()@#()()@%*(^($&(%*!(@#*($*@(#^*%((! @*#$(%*!(@*#(%*(@#*%(^*@(#*$(%*(@#$*(%*!(@(*#&$(*(!*($*(%*() !@()$*#(!*@(#*()%()!@#$)*(!@(#$(!*(*(!()$*^(&!*$&(*!@#*%((*@ #$*%&@#*^(@&#$(%*(!#&$(^!&@($#*%(!&#^%#$%

....

Just kidding....I think two things have happened. 1.) Zaino has ridden a "popularity wave" becuase a few core people liked it early on (Dr. Bonz, etc), and 2.) Because Zaino is only seen in the "Car enthusiasts" circles, vs. products like Meguiars that can be purchased at Advanced Auto and Wal-Mart, it's more "exclusive" and therefore must be a better product.

After all, I've seen a million Honda commercials in the last year, but I've never seen a Ferrari commercial on my TV yet. Ferrari is clearly the better car, and it's reputation and performance is what sells it to the discerning enthusiast, not it's availability. Am I likening Meguiars to a Honda and Zaino to a Ferrari? No way, but I'm saying the marketing is much the same.

It would take a serious independent study to say which one is better. I personally use Zaino because it's easy on/easy off, it lasts a hell of a long time, it makes my car look great, and according to their website, it's some pretty space age stuff that's good for my paint. (There's that marketing stuff again!)
