I just wanted to get some thoughts on the GT lambo kit. I called today and got this price
$999.00 for the kit
$50.00 shipping (I will just pick up seeing as there in MD)
$400.00 fiber glass door panals
$1514.00
BUT! I dont want to paint my door panals and seeing as I am adding that blue carbon fiber I called suite E and asked them about doing blue carbon fiber over the fiber glass they said it would be about $1.80-$2 a square inch. anybody feel like taking a tape to there car real fast and finding the total square inch?
Never seen blue CF door panals before and think it would look hot

Seriously guys. I'm not sure about the rest of you but I've been into import racing since '93 in Hawaii. I've since owned over a dozen modified imports with motor swaps etc. Even Honda owners will call you a ricer for owning a set of those. It's pretty horrid to see those on a Civic but when you ruin a perfectly fine sports car, it's a disgrace.

cbrflyer919 : well the blue cf will match my dash and soon to be rear strut and between the seats. My only other option would be to paint the panal DB or leave it black cf.
10 TIL 4: I see your point bro I would say the same thing but remember honda owners (s2000 for sure) are nothing but haters anyway no matter what mods a Z owner does, Not my fault they loose to me everytime

I have also been looking at the GTF doors. There is a guy in MD (Chaseraero is his S/N) who claims to install these and the door panels at a very reasonable price. He can even get true CF door panels for $800. I've sent him a couple of PM's, but no reply yet. For simplicity, I may just go with the VDC doors, as the GTF doors require considerably more work.

Toby, I think you car would stand out even more with the colored CF doors, the only thing I would worry about is that there would be stark contrasts between paint and colored CF. If there was a way to fade or better transistion from the fenders to the doors (regardless of what the hood and interrior does) i think it would look hot.
EDIT: damn grammar

By the way, does Vertex (they're the guys who put your door kit in, right?) have a web-site?
Yep yep http://www.vertexmotorsports.com/ I don't think they're FULLY open yet though. The guy that owns the place, Steve, basically fired everyone I think and with the remodeling going on...he's been pretty busy. Call him anyway, but I know he said he's trying to stick to mostly high end projects and high end items now, ie no more Civics lol
