I've seen the same speed trap now 3 times in the last week in that area. Coming down a hill under an overpass, you see what looks like a car pulled over with its hood up. Its two cop cars, with the front ones' hood up, so that from far away you cant make out the profile of the lights of the back car. There's the guy with his speed gun in the crook of the raised hood, and they had a ton of folks pulled over.

 

I second that. Matter of fact, I seen it last night. 7100 got so many speed traps it ain't even funny.

 

I always think coming back from Dulles that 7100 will be quicker getting back to Kingstowne than the beltway, but always hit a million speed traps and people going 1mph over the limit...

There's the one spot right around where it goes from 2 lanes to three lanes that EVERY SINGLE TIME I drive by it there's at least one cop scanning. Never fails. And I drive the road like 2-3 times a week to Centreville. The thing that pisses me off about it is that people drive like 10-15 BELOW the speed limit when they see the cops. GOD that **** irks me.
