Default For Sale: Volk Diamond Black SF Challenges and C-West Side Skirts and Under Fins

Without going into much detail, my car was broken into Monday morning and my whole sound system was either stolen or destroyed. It happened, out of all places, in my apartment's private parking garage. They smashed the driver's side window to gain entry and cut the battery cables. Luckily, there was no exterior damage, or damage to other parts of the interior except for the center console. Last night I stripped the exterior of the car. The car was towed to the body shop today, and when I get it back, I'm going to get rid of it, so no more Z . The car is tainted now, plus for a while now I've been thinking about moving on to another car. This incident have finalized my decision.

Soooo...it's tough to do this because I love these wheels, but I need to sell them. Here are the specs:

Fronts: 19x9.5, +28 offset, Falken FK451 245/35ZR19
Rears: 19x10.5 +23 offset, Falken FK451 285/35ZR19

Wheels are in great shape. There is a small 1-1/2" scrape on the rear passenger's side wheel (see pic). There's lots of thread left on the tires...I would say they've seen about 8,000 miles.

I'm asking $2600 for the set.

Next are authentic C-West carbon fiber side skirts and rear under fins, painted Lemans Sunset. The fitment is perfect. Paint was done by Professional Autobody in Alexandria, VA. They did a great job, no spider cracks and a perfect paint match.

I'm asking $800 for the skirts and under fins.

Pickup only please. I'm trying to move these quick so thanks in advance. PM me if you are seriously interested.

Damn Jess....It's heart-breaking to hear you're leaving the Z Family man. You've been around for a long time. I hope you get it all sold quickly, since that's what you want. What's next for you?

I can make the meets in my corolla, but not any drives, lol.

Evo_Z33: I don't know if you can safely strip the paint on CF pieces. I cracked the front lip in half a couple of weeks ago pulling too far into a parking space.

Kelly: Don't know what car I'll get next, but luckily I've got my beater to get around in, so there's no rush.

Hey Jess,
It's Chris, I met you at the Z meet at Evolution and at Altered Atmosphere this year. What happened to your car?

I am very interested in the C-west rear unders and side skirts.

Couple of questions.
1. How did you install the rear unders?
2. Do the side skirts replace the the OEM side skirts or are they do they screw in?
3. Would you be willing to sell just the rear unders if the side skirts screw in?

Personal question:
What do you think about the C-West rear unders with Greddy Side skirts and Aerosync Front bumper combo?

Are you selling your exhaust too? If so how much?

Thanks
Chris

Hey Chris, here are my responses to your Q's:

Couple of questions.
1. How did you install the rear unders? - The body shop installed them when they painted the kit. It's held on by double sided tape and 3 screws. If you use the same method, trust me those suckers will NOT come off. I had to cut the double sided tape to get them off. You can easily install them yourself if your handy.
2. Do the side skirts replace the the OEM side skirts or are they do they screw in? - Yes they replace the OEM side skirts and they bolt on using the factory holes and bolts.
3. Would you be willing to sell just the rear unders if the side skirts screw in? - See above answer. I'd rather not part them out.

Personal question:
What do you think about the C-West rear unders with Greddy Side skirts and Aerosync Front bumper combo? - I don't think the Greddy sides would match up to well in this combo.

Are you selling your exhaust too? If so how much? - The exhaust is still on the car and I will sell it when I get the car back from the shop. I'll sell it for $600.

Default Totally removed factory side skirts

Jess,
So the OEM side skirts get taken off and the C-West Ones use the factory holes to replace them? The C-West side skirts don't have to be screwed onto the OEM side skirts, right? I see screw holes in your C-West ones and I saw them at the meets, the OEM side skirts use white clips to install the OEM side sills, so did you just drill into the OEM places where the clip locations are or what?

I am interested in buying the C-west rear unders and side skirts along with the exhaust.

I'll send you a PM with my offer.

The factory side skirts have to be completely removed. The C-West side skirts do not reuse those white clips, they are held on by reusing the 2 black clips in the rear, 3 10mm bolts underneath, and 1 screw in the front.

Jess,
I am so sorry to hear about your car...I wish you the best of luck with whatever decesion you decide follow (in terms of a new car). I want to take these wheels off your hands, but I just can't put the funds together. BIG BUMP for a great guy. That really sucks that your private garage was not that secure. I always worry about that too. Sorry to hear you are leaving the Z family, but whatever you decide to try next you will have to bring it to a meet sometime. We are going to miss you buddy .

Brett
