Until you actually show at one of these things, you don't realize how stiff the competition really is. My car might as well be a Yugo amongst the likes of Toby, Brent, Jordan, Jason, Minho, Ryan and so on and so forth. I show because I like the people and the experiencec, and for those that come to "spectate", my car still offers them something. For all the time and money I've put into it, I still like getting it looked at, even if the judges don't see it as a show winner.

Yea Mastergrade with JGTC style cf hood or the seibon hood that Kelly has, and an APR wing+Advan Version 2 wheels. My plan is to paint over the cf hood except leave the vents cf to show it is a cf hood, then get carbon GT style side mirrors, carbon B pillar covers, and leave the wing carbon except the fins on the side. No insult to him, he has a very nice car but in MY opinion:
Bodykit/exterior: I win
Wheels: I win
Engine bay: I win..More cf and my unreleased product
Power: He wins
Interior: Up to personal opinion. If you like lots of screens and a bunch of subs he wins if you like a subtle, more classy interior (Evo-R Carbon interior kit with my AEM and Nitrous pressure gauges in a carbon covered housing in the Nav. pod) I win.
Win, I might not but I do think I stand a chance especially since all of my parts are very rare. In that respect though I think Brent's interior will beat the crap out of the Minho guy's and my interior solidly. Not trying to start anything here but I think there are a lot of people who do stand a chance against the guy.
Yes, there are quite a few of you guys who stand a chance. He actually lost a few until he repainted the car. lol But you have to remember he is in the ELITE class and you need come creds to be in that class. And judges are judges and it's their opinions.

+1 on the showing just for fun. You know...the B**ches and Beer fun! Im all for it! lol

New to this stuff. Minho is in the Elite class and you have to come with Creds? What does that mean? Will mine be in the Elite class or can I get in that class?

Basically, you could have a $200K 350Z to show, if you don't have some wins under your belt, you can't go into the Elite class. You, as a new 'competitor' will show with the rest of us in the mild class.

It is a good thing we are in the mild class too. I saw something 'Special' at Frederick and I have to say I think that will be the show winner for this season... Talk about HAWT.... my god....

I had my Honda in the Evo booth in 04, and now that I have a kit on the way I'm thinking about registering. Their site is all jacked up, think you can still register?

The site looked fine just now when I checked it. I walked through a few pages of the registration process. I think it's only designed for IE, so if you're using a different browser, that may be the issue. Yeah, you should register. When you do, register under the Capital350Z/G35 Club (if you want to). We'll have a pretty good club turnout this year I think.

Don't know if I should have my car judged or not? It will be at AAM's booth. I might do ok in the appearance category but I will flunk anything else unless they count N/A mods.

haha yea but it has it's advantages. I need a wheel sponsor to afford the custom made ones. Plus AAM is top notch and treat you good so I have no problem helpin them out a little haha. Check out Status Racing too since that's my seat company. Car should get a lot of attention though (already got two magazines talking about a feature article). I'm thinking of running the JWT kit or Greddy kit by the end of Spring/beginning of summer so I can do some time attack(not racing because the body work costs too much to risk having someone bump me).
