What are the realities of Skyline here in the US? I have seen a few but they are either way expensive, or you need to do alot of work to them to get them to be decent.
o man i have this website at my house its like batfa.com or something and its a japanese used/new car site where they ship them into the port of Baltimore. Pretty cheap as well and all the cars are RHD. Site seems a lil fishy though.
Yeah, I've seen them there and I think there may be another guy in Cali that will import and (if desired) convert them for you to U.S. regs. I cant remember his name but I found him in the DuPont Registry. That guys prices look right around the same though. roughly 90 G's for a new R34. I'd wait, my buddy at Nissan says if you really want one, wait about 18 months and we should start to see the New Skyline info. And they are still planning to get them in the U.S. hopefully. If Im gonna pay that amount of money Im gonna wait. But there is still something to be said for rarity and the legendary status the R34 has in the U.S.
There's an R33 at AAM...saw it the other day when I was up there it's kind of like a bright copper orange color LHD and looked like the interior was gutted. Or you could do what I'm doing haha buying a 240sx that looks exactly like a RHD R33 with an RB26 motor and RB25 tranny.

Yea I have been tossing around that idea also. Especially since it seem to be easier to get the engine than the whole damn car!
