Hey guys in NOVA,

Whats up? I was wondering if anyone wanted to meet somewhere in NOVA to make the drive up to Maryland for the AAM BBQ/DYNO Day on March 4th, 2006. It sucks that I still have a stock 05 350z Touring but I love to see all the mods that everyone has, take pics to get ideas and get to talk and make friends with all the Z owners, I just wish I had the money to do these mods .

Anyways, I was thinking that if the AAM BBQ/DYNO day is at 10am than we could probably meet somewhere in NOVA around 9am or so to make the drive up to Maryland. I live in Gainesville/Manassas area so if Z owners wanted to meet there or somewhere farther north that would be fine too. I think it would be cool to cruise up there with a bunch of Z's, kinda a pre-cruise before the Sugar Loaf Mountain Cruise, ha!

Let me know who is interested and what times would be best to do this.

I'm in NOVA around Oakton/Vienna/Tysons. Yea we should all meet up and go up there together. Not sure if I'll have my Z to drive up there but it will be there with the exterior finished and getting some power.

 

Sounds good. I'll prolly be down in that area the night prior at my inlaws (Centreville). How about Evolution?

So what time are we looking at? 9 sounds good, but the only problem with that is the last AAM meet most people started showing up around 11-12.

Just me but I'm voting against meeting at Evolution just because if we take 50 to 66 then we go by a police station and my experiences in my car and my friends' cars in that area is that the police are not too friendly. With four or 5+ Zs with exhausts and I'm assuming majority running w/o cats going by the cop shop is not necessarily the best idea. Just my opinion though. BTW the cops just kind of know me/my car (1 reckless ticket and another for going too fast for the cops liking but I think he was mainly just jealous since he said he wanted a Z and here was an 18year old driving one) prior to the widebody so I don't want/need anymore tickets or citations.

 

I've met up at Evo many, many, MANY times and rolled out of there with 20+ Z's and never had a problem.. as long everyone does not drive like "***-hats" we'll be fine
