Default new shoes!

finally got myself a great set of rims from a great local guy (Ji). love the look and the offset is fantastic

Luff M1
19x8.5, 19x10 +22 (245/35, 275/35)

(car is filthy, and will try and get more pics)

(added more pics) (and if you look closely, you can see where this idiot side swiped me and hit my rear drivers side fender on 267 last week....getting the damage estimated this week -- SUCK!)

cool, thanks guys.

yeh, I'm hoping to be at AAM, assuming I can get this thing washed between now and then!

I've actually gotten a spring time bug to mod my car more. Looking to put on in the next month or so some greddy skirts, nismo rears, plenum, pulley, exhaust, viper, maybe a short shifter, and some other stuff. still fairly conservative....no FI or anything. buying a condo presently as well....my **** is gonna be BROKE by summer!

Nice wheels suprpwr!
I saw those Luff wheels sold by Status (California) through this forum, what's the background on these wheels? Are they replica's of a certain wheel or what (I found the Luff website, www.luffwheels.com, but not any real info on the company)? I think those wheels are awesome on your car and would look particularly nice on a Le Mans Sunset such as mine too. Thinking of putting 20' instead of 19's though. How much was your tires and to mount and balance them? Where did you get them mounted and balanced? By the way what wing is that on your car? I think that wing is awesome!
Thanks

well, first, it's a Stillen wing

as for the rims, I got 'em from a local guy (Ji) in MD....so not sure market price would be for mounting & balacing them. I think most places charge between $20-$30 per tire, though.

as for the rims themselves, don't know much about them actually. they're not the highest quality rims like Volks and whatnot, but more along the lines of Rotas or those Kazeras (nismo knock-offs). but, they were affordable and fit the look I wanted. for the price, size, offset, etc., I think they're a great buy. and I've seen a few other folks on this board with them as well, and really enjoy them.

yeah man no doubt they're a great buy. thats why I was considering them. Also they look really good. But I had to weigh the pros and cons. I was even talking to someone from F1 motorsports about getting a set.

if you need a hookup on a viper install or have a hard time trying to find a place where they install it at ALL, let me know. I know a guy that can get you wholesale on the alarm + install it for you same day.

thanks for the offer. looks like I'm going to get mine installed in a couple of weeks. got the alarm from a guy on here (kind of impulsively), but it looks like the installer is a good guy and a good deal too....so.....
