It would be nice to do a road trip some where on a Saturday spend the night and head back on Sunday....What do you guys think? Or find a place that is central and have people from MD, PA, NJ, NY and whoever else meet to spend the evening. WHEN IT IS ABOVE FREEZING Just some thoughts. Once again it was great to meet you all.

I'd be up for that.

I would be willing to take the lead on setting up an overnight trip with the help of some of those who are interested. I think sometime during the summer months so we have better weather and more time to do some mods. If we shoot for June (or Memorial Day weekend) and it goes well we could have time to schedule something for early fall(Sept). I know it is a long way off but it gives us more time to work around everyones ideas and schedules on a good place to go. May even have time to go check out some of the places and post pics. We should still do some 1 day meets other than the 1 or 2 overnight trips. Let's hear what the Noreaster's think.

Should this be a new thread?

Sorry I'm a little late posting. It was great to meet you all.

By my count (which I will imperiously call the official one, since I was taking notes) we had 25 350Zs, 2 300ZXs, and at least 2 (maybe 3) non-Z cars. At least 35 people showed up, including the following 350Z owners:

Aceman
BigBadBuford (and brother)
Bobdadd (and 2 friends in a 300ZX)
Bobg
Commasense
DBTRACK
Echinn
Edretti
FBlade1 (and friend)
Flynnibus
gaseous
GATORZ
md350z
mikersoft
noahbuddy
regis
SprechenZ (and friend)
stevelee2001
Tbcz
TCL
VaGentleman
Wxtornado
ZeeYa (and friend)
ZgiRL

There was a latecomer in a Redline whose name I didn't get.

Plus future Z owners DCABF and Gunser, and the owner of another 300ZX and his friend (didn't get their names).

My data aren't 100% complete, but here's the breakdown on states (350Zs only):

MD: 12
VA: 7
PA: 3
DC: 1
NJ: 1
unk: 1

Colors:
BY 6
DB 6
SB 5
CS 3
RL 2
SS 2
LS 1
PPW 0

Next time we need to find a place where we can get a really great photo to wow everyone who didn't make it.

Here are a couple of photos I took. There are 24 350Zs and 1 300ZX in this shot. (Bobdadd showed up later.)

VaGentleman on the right. Mikersoft (I think) in the middle, and I didn't get (or can't remember) the name of the gentleman on the left.

It may not be easy to tell in this shot, but VaGentleman has had his manifold cover painted to match the car. Cool! Notice his grounding kit (which he says hasn't made much of a difference).

Wow, that looked like fun. I'd be willing to drive to a meet in New York or New Jersey in the spring or summer. Maryland, however, is a little too far for me. Keep us posted if you decide to do a meet a little further north.

Nice meet, it'd be cool to see a meet in a more public place though.

What do you think about a meet just before the National Z Convention in Nashua NH which is Oct. 6-10? A lot of Z owners will be going there from all over the country and many would probably participate in a meet and then a caravan to the convention. A spring/summer meet would also be nice.

It was a lot of fun meeting some other 350Z owners, I just wish my car would have been cleaner for the pics!! We will definitely have to get something together again when it gets a bit warmer. Last year I went with the BMW CCA on their "Covered Bridge Tour" which went around 20 some covered bridges in the Philly/NJ area. It was a very nice drive through some scenic country. Doing something like that would be a lot of fun. I know some other nice driving roads through Amish country that are a lot of fun except you have to watch out for horse and buggies!

I made a video at the meet and finally finished putting it together. It isnt too great, but I didn't want to make the file too big and I couldn't figure out how to make the music fade out, but oh well... If anyone wants a copy of any of the pics in the video you can e-mail me at BigBadBuford@comcast.net.

Yes.. everyone that didn't hang around for the ritual 'cruise after' missed out! Tony (sprechenZ on 350zmotoring.com) had a good route scouted out for us.. even if it did take some ehh... illegal passing to get us all there together

Seriously!! killing animals and forcing me to run over them !!

I'm thinking that bridge would make for some serious bada** video of high speed passing on 2 lane roads.. I'm thinking at like 120mph on that bridge coming off that hill

I'm thinking BEACH TRIP!!!

Maybe the NJ Shore since it would be more centralized... or Delaware beaches. Zs all day... people oogling... and then b33rs all night.. repeat

Memorial Day is still a bit cool around here at the beaches.. I think something end of June would be better. Plus you want to stay away from Holidays.. people have commitments.

I had a great time and it was cool meeting all the other 350 owners. It looks like we hold the record for the biggest meet so far, but I'm sure that we will not hold it for long as more and more Z's are being released. This whole experience ( Owning an 81 280Z and a 89 300 Zx, have Nissan quit production, preordering and getting a car beyond my expectations) has been unique and I doubt if I will ever have it happen again.

Hey, flynnibus

I up for that as well. I don't know any good beach north of Maryland.
