Cant wait to see your setup, maybe youll have it all done by the show next month? If your going?

And this is why I hesitate taking my car to Altered and I question their tuning abilities. In my opinion... all that stuff and the numbers are negligible at best (please notice all the altered products he listed). You have 2 more hp and -4 lbft of torque than what I put down on the same dyno w. 20's, AEM intake, Greddy Evo exhaust, untuned in my 03 Z at the meet we had there. Nothing against Altered (they're a bunch of great guys) but it seems that the good techs keep leaving.

The baseline dyno run was 253whp / max torque 239. UTEC installed and tuned with 93 octane - 264whp / max torque 248. UTEC installed and tuned with 100 octane - 267whp / max torque 251.
EDIT: These numbers are UNCORRECTED

Personally I would head straight to Motorsports Performance in Fredrick. No Im not sponsored by them, but I do know them personally and they are great guys and some of the best tuners I've seen.

I think that no matter who you go to, you're only going to get so much out of a NA tune. When you go FI, there's only a few proven shops out there. And as far as the Mid-A, AAM has been putting out serious numbers on several setups for a while now. Just my $.02, but I couldn't be happier with the work they did on my car...
Edit - I'm not sponsored by them either.

Im not bashing AAM and I am not saying they don't do good work. But, Proven shops? You may want to do some research on MSP in Fredrick. Owned and operated by Paul and Krystos Efantis. Just google their names and see what comes up.
And they have done some Z's and G's and are some of the most knowledgable people I have ever met when it comes to tuning cars.
