Awright, I know the lineup ain't that great this year, but my band EAST IS EAST is on the LOCALS ONLY stage and if you're in the neighborhood I think you should come 'cause it's gonna be a fun party on SUNDAY (which is the best day, IMHO), May 28 at Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD.

My Z will be in the parking lot, so please help me make sure no one dings it!

I didn't know HFStival still existed, since WHFS doesn't. I was pissed when they went off the air...still am actually.

 

HFS moved to Baltimore and changed frequencies after they pulled the plug on 99.1--they're now at 105.7, which is friggin' hard to get where I live. Anyway, it's basically the same DJs and they're playing the same kind of material. The station seems a lot more disorganized on this HFStival stuff, though, and I'm not sure about their choices for this year's Festival line up (do they actually play Kanye West on there?). We'll see what happens this weekend . . .
