Default Sunday Cruise to Tim's Rivershore restaurant

What's up guys. Crossroadonline.com is a small club based in the northern VA region made of an older crowd. By I older I mean very few teenagers. Most are 20-30 in age who enjoy shootin' the **** and driving. The main reason I'm stating this is to make it clear that this is not an immature group.

Moving on to the good part. This Sunday, June 11th we will be holding a cruise departing from Alexandria down to Tim's Rivershore restaurant in Woodbridge(?). Our local members have Vipers, BWM's, Porsche, NSX's, Mustangs, STi's all the way down to Miata's. We would like to get some more people to participate.

If interested we are departing at 12:30pm from:
5440 Cherokee Ave
Alexandria, VA 22312

You can expect to meet a great group of people, have lots of pictures taken and eat good food! Hope to see some of you out there!

Sounds very cool. I'll have my car back next week though. Enjoy the gorgeous weather!

Will definitely be there!! Are we taking 395/95 down? Hopefully we can avoid the Mixing Bowl as the Wilson Bridge Project is supposedly backing up traffic in both directions for miles (as usual)...

I'm not sure on the exact route at this point. But yea, definitely gonna try to avoid the beltway. I think I overheard something about taking the GW Parkway and cruising south along the Potomac, should be a great time!

Fun stuff, I've known Tim for about 15 years, actually helped him open that place. Maybe I'll catch up with you guys sometime. Anyone ever go down to Tim's 2, just west of Fredericksburg? Was there Friday night, it's a lot like Tim's 1.

When you say cruise...are you talking about going down by boat or car? Just wondering.

i'm rather certain it's by car given the context in which he mentions all the car models and not boat models

Missed this thread somehow...

I've never heard about your club, do you want to elaborate? Just curious. Checking out the site now, seems Ford influenced?

The site founders owned Mustangs at the time of the original site design. Only a few members still own stangs- and one is twin turbo making 510whp. We've got STi's, RX-7's, Viper's, Porsche's, Vette's and a few new members as of today with a Supra TT(single) and Matt with his sweeeeeeeeet 350Z. But that's not the point, it's not a manufacturer specific club. It's a local club that welcomes all enthusiests of domestic and import. There's very little BS and drama here, just great people. I think it's best said that with CR you go for the common interest, but stay for the crowd.

Nihilation - you forgot to mention the sweet NSXs!!

After just one cruise - I highly recommend that anyone in the DC area meet up with us who's looking for a different scene - it was a great time.

From what I was told, this was a pretty small turnout (considering the great weather), so I was surprised to see such a diverse group:
