I know alot of guys with this plenum spacer. They all like it, I think plenums/spacers are def worth it. And the AAM plenum is the only angle cut spacer on the market, and its stealth. For the price its like a sore d!ck you cant beat it...

30 min install for me, do it on ur lunch break, but if you don't know how you could really jack something up. My suggestion is: DO NOT over tighten the bolts!!!!! Too many ppl have leaking problems because of this. Overall, it's a great HP/dollar mod. You also get a deeper engine growl.

The plenum spacer is a winner. See the Sport Z magazine plenum vs plenum spacer shoot-out results. Unfortunately during the testing, the AAM spacer had leak problems. So the resulting test numbers are disappointing.

It's a great piece. Had one, loved it. Install shouldn't take long at all (~15 minutes).

I don't get it, is it hit or miss? Half the people w/ this spacer have leaking problems and the other half love it. A buddy of mine had AAM install their own plenum spacer on his car and it STILL had leaking problems whereas mine is rock solid and I did it myself....

The best mod for the money. Usually one of the first mods for most Z/G owners...

Question

curious... does the AAM spacer still produce gains on the revup? i have the motordyne and i know they said the gains with the spacer alone was marginal on the revup. so that's how they ended up with the MREV and MREV2; which i believe is the 5/16" spacer + lower collector mod. i dunno i'm just asking because i never knew that much about the AAM spacer. The motordyne isn't angled.

This is due to installer error... if you overtighten the bolts when you reinstall the upper plenum they'll strip and leak... the worst are the center 6 bolts. The directions tell you how to put them on right.

I'd like to know the answer to this question as well. Anyone know? For those of us with Rev-up, it could be the difference between spending $269 for AAM's spacer vs $741 for Motordyne's spacer plus MREV2 combo.

I have a 2006 Rev G35C and the P spacer from AAM was my first mod along with a K&N filter. I noticed an immediate gain. Do yourself a favor and go buy a torque wrench for like 20 bucks and tightened them to factory spec.

Once the spacer is on, you can feel the air coming out of the bolts while the engine is running. Just tighten them in a cross pattern, but not alot of torque, start the car, then tightened to spec.

You can do all of the above in 45 minutes, assuming you already have the torque wrench.

should be wrist tight, 10-15 lbs
the motordyne 1/2 inch spacer delivers the most HP, but u need to remove ur factory sway bar to have it fit
