Welcome to the area! Yeh, I see that G nearly every day... it's pretty good looking, but totally visually upgraded... no performance. I didn't think the paint was custom though... wasn't that shade of blue produced early on? Maybe I'll see you around. I make my way up to VT pretty regularly!

I don't find anything special about Mike's Burgers, but do experience all-u-can-eat ribs at TOTS!

 

Mike's must have gone down hill since I was there. I think at the time they won the best burgers in town according to the paper. The bomb in the library happened some months after Sept 11...

 

don't get me wrong, there are those who still really enjoy it for some reason, but between 2002 and 2006 it never did a single thing for me. and their fries suck. i would only go bc of my friends and even then i would really just go to flirt with the girls. personally i'd rather have a whopper and save money and make my taste buds happier.

 

been to mikes one time, didn't enjoy it that much, haven't gone back

I know in your simplistic little mind, you wouldn’t be caught dead at another school in VA. But, there are actually subjects out there that uva trails some of the other schools. Hard to believe I know, since you are “the university”

-uva was my back up, can't believe it can you? Thats one of the reasons I didn't go there.

karmstro: lol chill out, the ones that think they're so high and mighty aren't worth your time. they'll just debate all day because they have nothing better to do than prove their superiority against all else to themselves. ps, uva was my backup school i was accepted to as well. i really loved the campus and hated the layout (hate tech's architecture but love the layout) but it all really boiled down to how the people treated each other. that was obvious.
