Maryland 350Z meet - March 8th
Altered Atmosphere would like to sponsor a 350Z meet this weekend! We are real involved with the Stealth/3000GT community, and always have a great time having 3Si members (www.3si.org) over for a mini-gathering at the shop. We will be getting involved with the 350Z communities aswell, and would like to get everyone together. So here are some preliminary details:
Meet up at the shop around 10:00am. Run the dyno (which will be run at our very low sponsored rates) and hang out at the shop. AAM will provide lunch/barbeque for everyone! Early afternoon, we will have a professional photographer take pics and video of the cars driving - probably through Sugarloaf mountain and some other rural/fun roads around here. And we usually end up going to Ruby Tuesday or somewhere similar for dinner and drinks afterwards. Then, depending on the weather, those who want to stay late can hang out at the local Starbucks/Barnes and Noble/Street Hang outs.
We will have two trick 350Z's to check out at the mini-gathering. One will have a custom intake, NOS, tein suspension w/ edfc, crazy stereo and dvd system, and a few other mods.
The other 350Z will have an intake, plenum modification, tein suspension w. edfc, AP Racing 14.25" 6-Piston caliper upgrade, and more.....
If you can make it out this Saturday (March 8th), send me an e-mail MikeM@alteredatmosphere.com so I can make sure to have enough lunch for everyone!
See everyone March 8th!,
Thanks,
See ya,

I'd like to go, but I've got the interior stripped out of the Z in preparation for a new stereo install. I'm sure it's drivable, but not very pretty.
Most of the parts won't be here until next week.

The special dyno rates for 350Z's this Saturday will be as follows:
Standard baseline: $40.00
Baseline with A/F: $50.00
As opposed to most dynos, we have built in wideband 02 on our dyno. Most shops don't offer this option on dyno days (the sensor are very expensive and need to be replaced often) but in my oppinion the information you gain when you dyno your car with the A/F option is worth its weight in gold.
So, expecially if you've added a few bolt-ons, you will be able to tell more about the running condition of your car -- and you'll have a good basis to go by when you get further involved in modifying the car. The information provided by the a/f option will also help you determine if an ecu reprogram and/or S-AFC type fuel controller will be benneficial.

Mike,
It would be helpful if you gave the address, directions, a map, or something. Yahoo's yellow pages give two addresses: 8013 Cessna Ave and 12 Meem Ave. Which is it?
I have to work, and haven't decided if I can afford to take a break to come out. How many people are you expecting so far?

The weather people are calling for 60-deg. temps and sun!
We will have some neat product on display, and will have two trick 350Z's we've worked on here at the shop to show off.
See everyone tomorrow!,
