Commute Q - Springfield -> New Carrolton MD

Commute Q - Springfield -> New Carrolton MD
Figure this is as good a place as any.
Currently commute Kingstowne to Crystal City. (outer loop beltway at VanDorn to Rt 1 N). Not a bad commute. Considering taking a job in New Carrolton MD. Problem is I see that the major backup every morning is right where I get off at 1N going over the bridge. Whats it like after the bridge, does it clear out at all? Would be going in @ 7am coming home @ 4. I see from when I come home that the inner loop usually isnt too bad during the afternoon rush.
