Me and Alberto had some issues this past weekend at the track. He hurt his tranny and I snapped a axle


Axle is on its way, so if i get it install this week i will be there.

Well at this point i still dont know, have not taken it apart. The one guy i had look at it seems to think the splines broke off. I should know for sure in the next few days.

I can still hear the BANG!!!!!

Damn, if i could of hooked up that run, i would be in the 12's

what track did you guys run at,to much carnage happening.

 

Mason Dixon near Hagerstown-my first time there, very nice crowd,nice people up there compared to the loud hicks at Cecil and the wigers at Capitol. I'll def be back, and they arent tough on the 11.49> rule needing a roll cage.

As far as the Carnage on my car, it was mostly driver error. I did not have the drivetrain preloaded enough and when the clutch grabbed, something had to give. Those slicks sure did not

I will be back, and i will be in the 12's before i go forced induction. Its something i need to do..

Alberto, how fast did you go at mason dixon? Are you still planning on running at capitol? Since it is 10 min. from my house, that is my track of choice.

I do. Isn't there a Mcdonalds or something right off of the doswell exit there? It's kinda fuzzy but I think if you come off the exit going right, there will be a stop light and there is a McDonalds on the left and a 7-eleven. Sound about right?

Can we just pull up into the KD parking lot and park?

 

I think its about that time some Hotel info gets posted, so those interested can make reservations....

 

Cheapest Rate I could find which is right off 175 is Courtyard by Marriott $119 a night for two queen sized beds ....

just saw the video. unfortunately, once you get that kind of power, things start breaking alot more frequently. guess the stock tranny can't take close to 600 hp on slicks. but i guess you will have the racing transmission in pretty soon and be able to put the power to the pavement with powershifts. on a positive note, the first part of the run looked good.

I am moving to the area (Laurel, MD) and figured this would be the perfect opportunity to meet everybody. If I bring sufficient alcohol (or food) can I be admitted ?
I'm still in Rochester, NY (Western NY) and will be driving down on Thursday, so Saturday would give me time to actually run all kinds of errands on Friday that need to happen for my relocation.
