Representing the Z community at Virginia Tech (56k maybe)
I'm in the Car Club of Virginia Tech, and each semester we have a car show. In order to promote this car show to the rest of campus, we have a display on the Drillfield
(for those of you who aren't familiar with the VT campus, the Drillfield is a large open field that divides the campus from the residential/food buildings and the academic buildings, so almost everyone that lives on campus has to pass by this area to get to class, so today I would estimate somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,000 people walked by)
The Drillfield Promo consisted of 4 cars from the club - my 03 Touring Z, a 95 3000GT VR-4 (w/ 22k invested in it), an S10 (with a small block chevy 350 v8 swap in it), and a 2006 Corvette Z06 (awesome). It was pretty exciting, I was picked along with the other three guys from a pool of applicants to represent the club. It was a lot of fun and I got a lot of compliments (3 people even skipped the rest of the cars and went straight for mine!).
Anyway, here are the pics -

P.S. - Please disregard the poor performance of my school's football team against BC tonight.

yeah man Tony (the guy who owns the GT) was telling me all about it -
forged internals - its capable of 600 whp
upgraded turbos
chrome cast engine parts
custom exhaust
custom leather interior
lambo doors
some kind of sick sound system
I've always thought that car was awesome, I'm glad they put it out there.

so i know they don't look perfect, but I really don't want to buy larger spacers and then have 8 spacers to try and sell in the spring, its almost winter anyway, the Z won't be out much until march/april when it begins to warm up down here.

nice man, I go to UVA and our car club isnt close to yours. We should def try to go to an auto X between school, maybe a lil healthy competition or something. Since its official that both our teams arent doing as well as we planned and UVA is ****ing awful maybe our cars can do a lil more haha
