Default Fassell Out as Ravens Offensive Coordinator

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2629319

So now we'll see if Billick can run his "system" that has been the subject of a great deal of scrutiny.

lol...Billick...the "offensive genius"...yeah right. The ravens have never had a good offense and at this rate they never will.

Ummm...I'll accept the criticism. But can you tell me the last time HOUSTON won back to back games? Your team isn't anything to write home about.

Our defense has been our glue for sometime.

I want to know what bought on Fassell's resignation or dismissal.

Stress and finger pointing. I honestly think its for the best.

Biscotti is a genius if you ask me. Fassell deserves a head coaching job somewhere and by letting him go now he can pursue one. This is also the first nail in Billick's coffin. I believe its his way of saying "get your sh*t in gear or at the end of the season you're done."

Also, our biggest concern should be the offensive line, not just the playcalling. The O-line simply has to be restructured. We absolutely have to bench Flynn. Loyalty in the NFL gets you no where. Get Chester and Terry onto the field. Look how well the Cardinals did when they changed things around.

Ouch...momo.

The offense has got to improve. I'm OK with this. If Billick can't right the ship offensively, he'll be out on his ear after the season.

6 years of offensive inepititude is ENOUGH for me.

ive been saying this for over 2 years now that the o line is most of the problem.all along everybody says it,s the qb,well after all these qb,s the problem still remains.did anyone notice the new left gaurd that replaced mulitalo actually was able to move a defensive lineman out of the way on many occasions.i dont care what qb we get we need to get a real o line first.

I agree with keith, it's time for a new offensive line. I'm slowly getting over my after-game depression, so I guess I can talk about the Ravens. I have to admit that I was begging for Kyle to come in because Mcnair isn't throwing the fu#king ball down the field. I know, I know the offensive line isn't giving him enough time, but f##k Kyle got that shi# down field. We better win the next three F##king!! Games!!!!

LOL. that was your comeback? Dude, i know the texans are terrible. No argument from me. Our defense couldnt stop a team of girlscouts much alone win back to back games. Hell, we cant even win one. Also, i think we'd be better off putting a goat at running back because maybe, jsut maybe, it would not run straight into the backs of the offensive line(i still have nightmares of draft night

Wrong. In 1996 we had the number 2 ranked offense and a probowl QB who threw for over 4000 yards.

Does preseason count? If not, then 2004

i agree with sly,why dosent the ravens so called (brain trust) give more carries to anderson or musa.it is obvious that jamal,s little balerina studder steps do not fool anyone.it is time for the ravens to finally realize that jamal needs to step aside.he sure as hell cant hit the hole anymore,or could it be he is to worried that he might get hurt again. pussssssy

Anderson seem to have more explosiveness, but i'll give Jamal the benefit of the doubt, If we can get the ball down field, then that would spread out the defense, thus Jamal will be able to get more yardage.

I used to be the biggest defender of Jamal until the Denver game. I would say the problem was strictly with the line, but both Smith and Anderson looked better running behind the same line against the same team. While I understand that Lewis needs 25+ carries in order to be a dominant back, I think its time to spread the wealth. Perhaps even get Lewis and Smith/Anderson in the backfield at the same time. Why haven't we done that yet? I love Jamal, but again, loyalty gets you nowhere in the NFL.
