BTW. This ^^^ is the only LS swap into a Z/G with working A/C and JE Import is the first shop (that I know of) that has managed to make it fit and work. This is the true daily driver swap.

Ask JE about an RB swap.
I only say that because I have yet to see an RB swaped into a Z/G done in this area but I know JE can do it.
I imagine that would drop some jaws at the shows.

looks like the stillen hood will fit perfectly!!?!?!!
Believe it or not you may not need the stillen hood for a SC LS2. The LS sits so low in engine bay that there is about 3 inches of space between the top of the intake and the stock strut tower bar.
I've been considering it myself but I'm already having traction issues as it sits right now.

I am using 285's, but my new ones will have more surface on the road than any of your 305 or 315's .

I'm running a true coilover setup in the rear so I can't go any wider than my current 285/35/19 without rubbing either the shock springs or the inner wheel well. I should be about to go a little wider if I have the fenders rolled and pulled I guess.

Point is that when you're making around 400+ ftlb's of tq at below 2200rpm the difference between a 285 and a 305 isn't gonna matter that much. The difference is gonna be in a good tire compound and a proper wheel alignment right?

You will notice a difference for sure. I noticed a huge difference from 265 to 285.

However compound and alignment do play a huge part. Compound playing the largest part. (Softer rubber=more grip)

I was told that if you fill up less air in the tires you'd have better traction.

Wow those tires are stretched. Don't drive around the district with that setup.
