That SR-71 must have been something else to see in real life.

If you've never been the UH Air and Space Museum out here near Dulles, you HAVE to do it. It's free to get in (as are all the Smithsonians), but it's $12 to park (the Smithsonian Institute doesn't own the parking lot).

In addition to the SR-71, they have a space shuttle, the Enola Gay (the bomber that carried the nuke to Hiroshima) and some other really cool planes. If you like to actually read the information placards on the walls/stands, it's a full day to go through that place it's so big.

AOL has usually always gone big. After being with the company for almost 9 years now, I have to say the Museum has been one of the better venue's they have done.

Good pics Mike! Whos the ugly chump rubbing up on your girl though?

It was definitely good times, although last year was a little better I thought. Good seeing you there, been too long!

Here's some of my pics:

Few shots of the museum/party:

Dancing Girls in the upstairs club section:

Dancing girl with my buddy Will (GotA350ZR):

In the "China" section, they had this girl doing all kinds of cool stuff while holding these cups:

Desert section:

Piano Section:

I decided to run one of the bars:

Some champagne perhaps?

Bunch of co-workers:

Co-worker that is a little too drunk (This is at Westfields Marriott for an after party):

This was my date:

Nice pics Mike and Dave. Looks like a killer party. I almost can sense you intoxication in some of Mike's pics (the blur really helps ). My holiday party was non-existent. Very nice gents.

LOL! I actually did not drink a drop (drove the Z there, and was too worried about exhaust tickets leading to DUI's)

I just have a crappy camera

I heard Booz Allen also rented the place out for their party...

My company rented out the Marriott next to IAD...

What was the mood like with the recent lay offs?

Saturday...we had lots of people staying at the Westfields. My buddy Will (in the pics) works at Lockheed Martin, and they also had theirs at Westfields but a week or so ago.

It was ok I think. The layoffs were actually announced back in August...so many of the people knew that they were expecting in December. Plus 4 months severance aint too shabby...But either way, crappy timing.

haha ... a $15 tripod from walmart does wonders man. Especially at night. Even the slightest movement during a night pic will make trails.

+1 on checking out the Dulles Air and Space Museum. Other than all the Planes and Missiles on display there's some really cool info on the placards.
