Function Tuned is a great shop. They installed my exhaust and test pipes last week and it sounds f-ing awesome.

Are you sure about that?

Aftermarket headers will work with this kit (TN ST) due to the design and turbo placement, but will require mild to moderate modification of the upper downpipe. All header combinations have produced varying piping misalignment, vibration, and exhaust leaks due to the close proximity of the headers, downpipe, and body. Owners who have run the kit with headers installed have reported slightly higher peak power numbers, but a decrease in turbo response (more lag).

Too much PIA, turbonetics for the Z and the subaru WRX are the only two cars I know of with turbo and headers. I thought the turbonetics utilized one stock header and one manifold???? correct me if I'm wrong please, most of my research has been on ATI prochragers because that is what I want for my Z.
Mild to moderate modification = it dosent work and you will have to pay someone to make it work...

From what I've read it's probably not a good idea. Modification is needed which probably sounds like more than anything a hassle.

Thumbs up

Just got the headers and test pipes installed today. Excellent work and excellent quality on strup parts. Dave and Juan are really cool guys and customer service is top notch. Plus with the my HKS exhaust the headers and test pipes sound bad ***. Definitely recommend function tuned for any work you need done. They will definitely continue to get my business.
