I will have $100 bucks cash that someone goes to jail prior to getting to the skyline drive. I also have $100 bucks that it will be an Evo Invloved. Whoever invited the EVO crew from DC, please direct them or cut and past my post in the main Skyline drive. The last thing any of us need is a bad name for our cars. I am telling you all again. I66 IS NOT THE PLACE to prove your et@bla bla bla. If you all are that hard up for some street racing, then put your money where you mouths are and we can have a 350 vs Evo at the track day. I have my $50 deposit for the track rental right now. WHATS UP WITH THAT?

Everyone is cool.... but I see this turning into something not fun. All it takes is one azzz to make us all get hated on for the rest of the week, month summer by VA cops. Hell we already get hated on in the G because we drive 40K cars. I just want to have a good time at Skyline drive. Most men, who dont get laid enough tend to hammer down on the peddel harder and more often than mack daddy's. I am not calling anyone out nor name calling or saying who is faster or what. I saw a Chevette run a 10.80 and none of us is doing that....I know. My concern is for us not to see an accident, massive tickets, or massive headache from the PO PO. I love the Skyline Drive and I have already been there twice this year. I would love to share this experience with as many as possible. I just dont want an A hole to ruin it. I may have to jump out of the car and beat them down just for being so dang stupid and immature. I think I have officially gotten old....LMAO (30)!

Is there a problem with Evo owners?

 

Evo owners are cool, I was leather seats away from being one myself. (2005). But Evo are generally a younger crowd and if I dont say so...a little more on the faster side of life than most of the 350z owners I know. Now my experience is just that, my experience. I just dont want anyone, 350z, C5, M3, bike or anyone to make this a screwed up day. I am so pumped about this drive that I have hit psycho mode and now I am tripping thinking someone is going to take my day away from me! I love all cars and respect what anyone with the right bank account and determination can do. Again, not trying to offend anyone or ruffle any feathers of EVO's or 350z, vs whatever. My experience just had been if I want a race, look for an Evo....simple as that, those guys are pumped and willing to run, which is fine to do, however in the mist of 68 fellow car lovers, I dont think that this (Skyline Drive April 15th) is the time nor place. Disagree? I may go up the weekend prior just to get some one on one time with the mountain before I let some kid (two kids) that have something to prove get 68 cars pulled over at the same time including my I HATE THE LAW having self. I got pulled over 6 times last year, but only 2 was for speeding (and rightfully so) so my experiences with the law are pretty bad and unfortunately pretty common. 52 times in my 15 years of driving with about 10 tickets...most are registration and license checks...routine stops...DWB, etc. I am saying this, I aint taking a ticket without earning it, so I may have to drop some (outside the car) whopazz on anyone who screws up my DMV point balance....lol!

I still got that $100 bucks...I see no one has bet against me...because you all know I am right...hehehehhe!

I'm back in Hawaii. I won't be back there for another at least 18 months... but most likely 30 months.

 

LOL damn 4shizzle I think you are over reacting man. Nobody on these forums wants to turn this into any kind of touge or any other racing, thats why its a cruise I think the talk between me and Tony got you all worked up for nothing.

 

^ Lol... plus it'll be kinda hard to run touge with such a huge cruise. When we run out here, there's usually no more than 5 cars.

 

Its not really this post or what you two said to one another. I think its just that I have such a close/great relationship with the Poe Poe that I see them screwing with us because we have so many going now. Its funny, growing up poor as shizzil, like most cops, you would think that once someone buys something nice that you would gain a littel respect for their achievements? But cops dont get paid squat for what they do. For me its been nothing but a burdon in my Grand Cherokee, F-150, Chrysler 300, 77Bucik, 01 Mustang, Mazdas, Honda, Toyota, VW's.....I have changed cars, manufactures, colors, and models....still I get the shaft. Glad to SlyZizzil got off! Im just paranoid with so many imports and cop haters in VA. I saw a trail of like 15 cars pulled over once, they were all tricked out, no particular theme/manufacture....but the one cop had them all stopped with hoods, doors and trunks open, I could the frustration on their faces as I drove by ....Freakin Haters... I think I need counciling and prayer.

Sorry if it seemed as if I came off at you guys...it was just a generalization from my experiences. I will drink a few beers tonight and calm down. LOL.

 

That's like, typical FFX cops... also illegal (searching without a warrant). Unless of course the cop(s) were just checking the cars out.

I am not sure if I can make the drive yet but honestly, when you get a large group of modded sportscars like this, people are bound to speed. I have gone to many car drives and there are always people driving reckless, unfortunately. Some other car clubs actually divide the group into a slower and fast group if your really concerned, that may be something for you to consider.

 

This type of drive is fun with more cars. Last fall it was a slow and easy pace and it didn't seem like anyone was bent on show boating too much. It's more like a meet in motion .

Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone there.
