Whoa whoa whoa... never tuned?!?! What installer lets you drive out of their shop with just a reflash especially on a turbonetics kit... and with NO boost controller? The wastegate line flew off too? Sounds like a bad install.

Looks like your installer goes "HmMm...this guy has money.. lets blow his crap up and convince him to get a built motor + TT's..." PM me for a REAL installer, I hate to see our community members get tossed around.

No, the install was done by atlantic motorsports and I did not ever return my car there. they did a horrible job. I spent hours and days correcting their mistake. It lasted me w/o significant problems for well over a year.
So inspite of having another stock motor that might blow, i bought a slightly used built motor with twins...

No offense bro, but do you know the guy who had your new "slightly used built motor with twins". Make sure you talk with this person and you know how they drive and treat their car. I am not making a cut at the old owner, I don't know who it is. Just being cautious.

Good luck with the install and Please for the Love of God, get the price written down for EVERYTHING and signed with a clause for not exceeding that price without your written agreement. Might want to add a guaranteed delivery date w/penalty for going over that date. Otherwise you might not see you car done for months after you expect it... (Trust me, I know this first hand & from a # of shops)

Price creap is a biatch, trust me...

thanks bambam. i know that shops here are tyrannts. As for the motor, everything checked out with who built it SGP Racing, the people who tuned it, XS Engineering, and I also followed up on all his references/ coworkers at XS engineering... Everything is completely installed now, i'm just waiting for the dyno... its been about 3 weeks..

and the price.............lets just say i've had to sell my soul and my future children and grandchildren's souls to be able to afford the install/tune

I didn't realize how expensive things can really get when trying to make 500-600hp.

ANYWAYS, BACK TO THE TOPIC.... MOTOR HAS TO GO, .. I WILL TAKE $600 FOR THE LONG BLOCK <THATS EVERYTHING>
