Are you going? If so I might have to follow you around a little, since I've never been to Summit.
I have a ride along with a instructor first thing Saturday set-up, so that will help.
I can walk you through Summit pretty easily...
T1 - T2 - nearly the same as VIR, but with a little more camber so you can throttle all the way through the turn.
As you're coming into T3 at the top of 4th, aim at the 2nd crossroad, brake (but don't downshift), turn in a hair early, and then ride the wave - just be sure to open up the wheel as the camber flattens out there.
Rise the crest, and just lift the throttle, turn in T4 and STAY ON THE THROTTLE in 4th. Let the car track out the left, and don't worry about getting to the right for T5, it's a throw-away turn for hte most part. You can enter left of center here too at T5. It is a hard braking zone, so if you run out of brakes, don't be afraid to use the "5-8 expressway." Run T5's course, track out, and don't worry about getting the car back over to the left for T6 - simply aim right of center for the turn-in (trust me, you'll cut off about .5 seconds).
T6-T7 can be done with one steering input, feather the throttle, and then gradually gain speed as you go through the esses (just be sure to be on the backside of T8 to set yourself up for full throttle through T9. At the apex of T9 is a little hump, so as you crest that apex, open your wheel up and air at the striped curbing and don't be afraid to use it. You're cooking if you can hit 4th just as you start the track-out curbing.
On the short straight there between T9 and T10, point the car to the right of center under the bridge, go down the hill, get on the brakes, but leave it in 4th. You should see some patching in the asphalt there which is a good measure for the line your left tires should be following. T10 has more speed than you think - don't be afraid to use the curbing on track out and be full throttle.
Summit isn't my favorite track, but it sure has a lot of nuances that keep it interesting - especially with the patching through the carousel (T6-T7). If it's wet, the concrete is especially grippy, and the patching in the carousel is slick and inconsistent (you'll feel the car dancing around).
Have fun!
Edit: Be sure to watch the flag stations for random yellows - the corner workers see the deer, turkey, and ground hogs long before you do. Deer is the #1 cause of fatalities at Summit - so beware. J, who has seen many close calls with the deer overpopulation there.

Just realized I might not be able to make it.
Its my wifes graduation day.
Why does this happen to me. I have missed this every year for the past 5 years because something important happens.
