Do all Z owners/drivers wave at each other...
To answer the original question, no. How can I put this... the Z isn't one of those cars that are owned by a specific group of people (like Evo's). You got people from all walks of life getting into Z's, which means that there's gonna be a LOT of non-enthusiast kine people that don't give a flying **** about comraderie amongst owners. Us Evo owners, for example, bought our cars for pretty much the same reasons. You won't find someone that isn't into motorsports buying one. Soccer mom won't buy it, grandmom won't buy it, etc. We have a common respect for each other (same with STi's, and also same between Evo and STi owners). It's a shame too, since the Z has a very strong backing in motorsports. It should be given that respect amongst owners.
I usually wave at the modded Z's. But that might be what provokes them to want to race me. I don't get it, every Z with bolt on exhaust and a popcharger wants to run. Don't they know to stay away from Z's that sound like airplanes.

You Z owners are lucky though... you don't have every ricer and their mom trying to run you in all sorts of situations. Hell, the day I was TEST DRIVING my Evo, I was on my way to my house (while still at Ft. Belvoir) and as soon as I hit the Springfield interchange (car had like 5 miles on it at the time) some Lancer Ralliart decided he wanted to sample the Evo. The day I picked my Evo up from shipping to Hawaii 3 ricers tried to sample. Not a day goes by that some jackass doesn't try me. Traffic, no traffic, rain, whatever. And now, it's not even limited to ricers... luxury cars, SUVs, lifted trucks - they all want a piece.

thats how It was for me when i first got the vette..... everyone and their mom was trying to run me....... that seems to have died now... if anything I might pick on the occasional ricer a bit more than I usually would....
on the wave thing, I usually dont see 350 guys waving at eachother that much..........
vette guys always wave... except for some of the newer C6 owners that dont know about it, or arent really enthusiasts

I try to wave, blink my lights or something to acknowledge other Z people regardless of mods. I stopped at a light and spoke with another Z man today, btw nice meeting you! I'm starting to notice more women driving Z's around Richmond, but they don't wave or anything.
