Anyone have any of my runs on video or any pics? I didn't bring the cameras with me so my buddy that was there could only say "yea, it came up that time" or "no, it didn't look like it came up too much on that pass"

is it just me or did any of you guys have hard time cleaning your windows. I stil have white gunk all over it

 

LOL. Mason Dixon uses some serious paint on the windows. Mr. Clean and a scrubby will take care of 90 percent. In time the remaining white flecks will disappear.

 

Stoner's ate through it for me, but I did have to let it soak.

FWIW, I was #T19. First time ever at a track, got down to 14.008 w/2.12 60' on half traded stockers at full inflation w/Utec on Map 0 as my tune needs work.

I think I got a little infamous too as I'm on one of Todd's pb slips I saw posted . I was apparently doing a nice burn-out instead of hitting my 60'. I think it was the first run of the night I tried to work RT and I reacted, just poorly, lol.

 

I use a good razor blade. It peels off in a solid chunck.

 

Windex, paper towels and patience will do it. I'm glad my car has stickers, I hate shoe polish.

 

Cecil County has test and tune on Saturdays... $35

 

Time to bring this thread back to life. To save a lot of people comments ... yes I know my 20's are hurting my times.

That being said, here were my best ET, Trap, and R/T. I would post the rest of my heads up runs against Umar (I have 6 or 7 as proof ) but he pwned me at Zdayz so now we're even.

What impressed me was I got my highest trap on my last pass of the night (look at time 9:59 it was the last run of the night for anyone). This was after 25+ passes in a 2 hour span.

If I was able to adapt to the not-so-great track conditions (a bit slippery) I think I could have gotten better times.

For reference purposes this was my previous PB at Capitol last year. I was full weight and bone stock with same tires and wheels. 1st time ever at a track yet I was still able to cut a better 60' then all my passes at mason dixon. I think my best 60' was a 2.21.
