gettin my springs in next week! diy! just need a jack or spring compressor to get the spring into place... hopefully i dont mess anything up on my car

ah actually i am it wont be until after my factory warranty is over though (may 08) just getting all the other items in the mean time as the support mods... didnt u say u were done with mods after your wheels?? that didnt last long :-p

 

well i ordered the shocks/springs before the wheels. theyve just been sittin at my house cuz ive had no time to install them. but i prob am done at least until next summer. i may order a few small things here and there before then

 

ah, cool man... i see uve been goin to a bunch of meets... i went wihtout my computer for like 2 weeks, tryin to get back into it, but been busy, and also spending $200 in gas/month is killin my budget
how long your springs putting you? mine are only 1.2/.9... you already got camber kits?

 

i think mine are 1.2/1.2, dont have camber kit yet, waiting til i get an alignment

 

i was told that i should let it set for a few weeks or few hundred miles, align, camber kit, then align again (at a good shop that knows our cars are angled for better handling.. noob shops will make it as flat as possible and make our handling to go chit)

but then i was told i dont have to align first time, jus let it settle with camber kit on, then align once...

 

I was gonna wait for springs to settle then align it w/ camber kit if needed(which it prob will)

 

yea ill probably do same, no point in having 2 alignments... u eventually going FI?

 

sooner or later yea, i figured within the next 2-3 years Ill hopefully be TT, wanna wait til school is over then i can really start savin

 

i cant save chit ever since i knew i got this job, keep on spending... trying to knock out all these smaller mods first, then saving for exhaust, wheels, and n2o

 

The place a few doors down from functiontuned did an A+ job on my alignment (they have pretty much the same machine as P-tuning) I also got a color computer print out of before and after I think it was $100 well spent! Just tell Dave when you get there and they can check with the guys.

 

FUNCTION TUNED!!!! now I just need to wash up the car and i'm ready for saturday. Thanks again Dave!! for whoever else is meeting in mount airy before the meet it is goin to be at pizza hut right off 27 you can't miss it. Shooting to meet and leave around 12:30! pm me if ya need my # just in case

 

if the supra is running i might swing by for a few and shoot the ****...but its all of a waiting game now for this turbo....
