I believe I'm going to be with the old lady the first weekend of sept (1st and 2nd) heading to Ocean City.

The joint is called Grace Garden.

This doesn't need to happen anytime soon, it could be the end of sept or in oct for all I care. Lets just pick a date that doesn't get in the way of any other meets.

So far it looks as if a good bit of people are into the idea, if this keeps up, we'll have to make it a sunday. so that at least narrows it down to 1 day.
guessing a random sunday, meet at 3-4 eat at 5.

imonlykidden If you want some good Chinese food, make a trip up to Toronto.
After coming back from Toronto I searched around for "real" Chinese food, thankfully I ran into this Grace Garden place. It's the only place I know of south of NYC that serves chow mein.

 

when you say "chow mein" are you referring to the mix of veggies and stuff, or the crispy pan fried noodles? i prefer the crispy pan fried noodles. either way...i've def seen both in VA

 

Yeah crispy noodles with beef and bean paste MMmmmm
around here you get celery, chicken and a white sauce AKA water, chicken stock and corn starch.

i like to go to miu kee in falls church at 2am with friends and fam to get beef chow mein...or canton cafe in springfield, whichever we're closer to. yummmmm

if you want some cheap good chinese food (taiwanese style) hit up Bob's Noodle in Rockville, MD

 

canton is good as ****. The owner is cool as hell too

lol then you know what's up. that place is also always packed. everytime I go there.. usually dinner time... I have to wait atleast 30 mins. for a table.
