I had just left the grocery store at around 9pm with my gf and we were heading back home after your usual average day. I drove the speed limit for once.... ok maybe 5-7mph over the limit but I still count that as speed limit dammit! Cruising at roughly 42mph: I spot a pair of headlights in my rearview... it was an Audi (non-HID) AWD, 4dr. He came up faster and faster behind me traveling roughly 20-30 above the limit. I didn't think much of it until the guy started tailing me. I heard a sort of *rumble* so I knew this Audi was:
1. A Ricer
2. Had an upgraded exhaust
3. Either was a 1.8t or 2.8: thus at most had maybe 190-250awhp depending on mods.
I thought... oh ok, the guy wants to play?.... but why is he tailing me on a 1 lane road? Not like we can get side by side and gun it anywhere anytime soon. I don't really give a crap and decide to drive slower just to **** him off some more for tailing me.
My favorite twisty road was coming up on the way back to my house. I was thinking, "if he's following me and wants to play, he'll turn on this road with me!" I signal at the last minute to see if he'd do the same... Ta Da! whadda ya know? He signaled left and decided to follow me into my Funland. I then thought, "Oh shiet, it's ON!!!"
If you guys didn't know my obsession w/ twisties, it's not just for fun, it's because I've been followed home before and got all my stuff jacked from my old car.... never again!!! Ever since then for the past 4 years, a buddy and I have been training backroads: 2-3hrs every weekend to escape from thieves/followers and (in certain cases) police!
I turned onto the road and waited for him to pull up behind me to make it a fair start. I told my gf, "There's someone following us... but in a few seconds, he'll be out of my rearview mirror." (Initial D Style!!!) There's a slight straight-away where you can gun it to enter turn # 1 at a decent speed... so that's exactly what I did... and so did he! WoOohoO! This is what all these years of training have come to: A battle on the twisties w/ a random ricer! It makes it more fun that this guy has an AWD system meaning more grip for him (if he knows how to use it that is.) Too bad he has a huge weight disadvantage since this road was a downhill. Anyways, I cracked my windows down a bit to hear tire squeal and to make sure I'm taking these turns at optimal speeds. I heard his exhaust *RoAr* in the background as we both gun it and enter turn #1.
As we floored it, I pulled a car on him... hit the first turn and took a quick glance into the rearview mirror... he's behind by 4-5 cars. Tackled Turn #2 which was even more sharp and immediately hit a sharper turn # 3... Looked in my rearview mirror.. and he's not even there! I saw a faint light coming from his headlights behind me but I didn't see the actual headlights themselves... this guy was a total newbsauce!
To add more insult to injury: I didn't give him a chance to catch up (simulation 3) and went full speed through the rest of the corners to finally veer off into my neighborhood road. I parked outside of my house and stepped out of the car. We stood outside and we could faintly hear this dude's exhaust all the way in the distance tackling the backroads as if he was still trying to find me. No disrespect to Audi's, I came from a German car background, it's just that this dude couldn't drive =P
Every thread needs a photo:

I know, I am such a ricer!

Another one of my neighbors chased me down w/ a rolled up newspaper and tried to whack me was I drove by: I had to veer into oncoming traffic to dodge his a**.
Also before that, the same neighbor came to my house with an Axe and told us we better slow down and it pisses him off we drive so fast down the road. When he did that it started a war of the neighbors, so intern, every time I saw him walking the dogs on the road, I would speed faster, and drive towards him. Man we hated each other. Thank god he finally moved out.
