Agree. Bracket racing is tough. These guys with dial-in 12.00 seconds, and run 12.05 seconds with a 0.01 reaction time. Very difficult to beat. Still, returning to the staging lanes after a WIN is a thrilling experience.

most people in street class aren't that consistent. If you can run within about .05 - .15 of your dial in and get 0.0xx reaction times. You should be ok for a couple rounds.

Sorry man, left right after i posted that.

But you did not miss anything.. It was horrible hot there today. Atleast 95

I checked the Density Altitude for today and it was over 2500 ft..I would of done better if I would of ran at Mason Dixon. So, no new records for me today

The next track i want to try is Capital.

Later

I kept an eye on the temperature today, and it reached 91 degrees. I knew that you guys (and cars) were suffering.

At least you can say you've raced at MIR now! Glad the slicks worked out for you. Some more seat time and good track conditions and your 12's! That DA sucks BTW ouch...

Default WOW..it was hot

Glad I got to run a different track but I didn't do any good. Found out that my stock clutch does not like the high heat Once the heat peaked at mid day I started having hard time getting it to engage.

Time for another mod

Wish I could make capital but I'll be out of town. Good luck!

at least with MIR and Capitol you don't have to slam on your brakes after crossing the finish line to avoid running into the sand pit.

Are you hating on Mason Dixon

You are right about MIR, much longer track... Is Captial the same length?

I might be able to make this coming friday night.

The thing that I didn't like about MIR is that while staging my car took hits from the debris off of the car in front of me doing his burnout. What's with all the small gravel in the burnout area?

there is no gravel in the burnout area, tires just pick up all the little pebbles around the pits because they are sticky. when they do the burnout, all of that junk is cleaned off the tires and onto the cars / crowd standing behind them.

capitol:I can cross the finish line at 110 mph, throw the car in neutral and coast most of the way to the turn off roads. At Mason Dixon, I was standing on the brakes to stop in time. I haven't raced at MIR yet (capitol is probably a little shorter but the shut down area goes up hill for a little bit), but will hope to do that eventually though.
