Mike when you get back lets talk about that trade, since the Z is no longer my DD I can do the swap now and finish the rest later! I am saving money like crazy with the new job and I am just going to go all out at once instead of an incrimental build

 

uugghhhh I just ate pizza since I saw no responses as of yesterday for it, damn it. yeah it went to 70% chance of rain now friday to. sigh, maybe when I get back after getting married the 15th when can get this going again. I have been super busy with wedding planning 3000 miles away and finding a job.

BTW got a job lined up, might be working for mazda corp. doing rotorary engine rebuilds with them in a new facility, sounded fun and they apparantly loved me in my interview

 

Just heard from him while leaving work today. He's in Memphis. Will be home late tonight.

I am surprised, with all the crazy stuff we went through, that we made it. But, we did, and without one scratch on it. So, I will be posting a thread, but if I see you guys before I do I'll tell you about it.

I take it you went the south route? I did the the northern/I-80 route to get the girl her in august, she hated it but we made it outta wyoming the first day from the bay area and she demanded we sleep. Probably a lot funner in a Z then a civic though.

We basically went 40 the whole way... I've got a shetload of stories about the trip... it was wild man. I'm gonna be making a thread soon, including pics.

I finally got all the tape off of it last night and just did a quick wash to get all the stuff off. I'm probably going to be claybaring it soon since A LOT of stuff happenned on the road.

The sentra runs okay...right now I'm chasing a few electrical gremlins and haven't even wired up cam switchover. But it will be one hell of a daily, a buddy of mine worked with a guy at a nissan dealer, he had the same motor in a se-r with bolt on's and was neck and neck with a brand new Z. This was a few years back, but still a testament of how quick she'll be.

I guess that means trouble for the Z though...going to have to dump more flow into my "Supercharge the Z" fund

 

Alright we've gotta get something going this Friday, we've been slack lately.

I'm down, dropping off the car for a week on Saturday to get the bumper put on/fit/painted, so it will almost be April if you don't see it this week!

 

Guess what they're calling for on Friday?! More rain FTL!!! I just lowered my car Saturday on some Tanabe springs and wanna show it off too!
