What 3rd Annual MZC Thanksgiving Drag Meet
Where: Cecil County Drag Strip (same as always)
When: Saturday November 24th
Details: Like always, we will be meeting at Columbia Mall by the parking garage around 7:30am. Bring about $50 bucks if you plan on running ($35 i believe). Also factor in gas and food. If you guys wanna eat we can grab a bite back at columbia afterwards. Last year we had a decent turn out...lets make this one even better! You dont have to run to go (I doubt i will) but still, come out. Its always fun times just watching and shooting the ****. Usually this time of year if you DO decide to run, you can get a few in.

Keith, Charles and Alberto are you guys still planning to go to this event? If so are you guys meeting at the same Wal-mart as we did last time or at Columbia mall with the 300zx's?

The two fastest ones I know don't drag race their cars - go figure. On the other side of the coast, however, there are 4 or 5 Z32s and a few Z33s headed to Sacramento Raceway on the same day for a test-n-tune. We can all compare notes and bench race when we return to work on Monday.

Then how do you know they're the fastest? Dyno numbers?

 

There are two or three 600+rwhp Z32s in the MD-area, one which I think I mentioned to you before, but they're old guys that are afraid to break things on the strip. If they showed up, you would 0wn them.

There is a special street Z32 that recently ran 9.4@142 down in AL, but only got his 9.5 on video. Knowing you, you'll appreciate this:

The scary thing is that he ran that with stock heads and cams, and GT28RS-like turbos at 24psi with 150 shot.

We'll have some West Coast videos after this weekend, hopefully with a few 9s and a lot of 10s passes. No nitrous for me though. All motor (plus two turbos)
