Default RIP Sean Taylor

What unbelievable news. Someone would break into a house and shoot someone with his wife and little daughter in the room. Whats wrong with people these days. Just to think he was getting his life on the right track too. Even though I know a lot of cowboys fans and other fans dont like him when hes on the field, he was really a great guy and will be missed by all.
RIP Sean Taylor

Damn, I can't say it enough, RIP Sean. My thoughts and prayers out for the family... It's crazy how big of an impact it made. I walked in to work (work with ONLY redskins fans) and not one person said a word until close to lunch time. All we did was listen to the radio...

He was shot in the upper thigh and the bullet severed his femoral artery causing massive blood loss.

I'm still going to the Buffalo game, but the atmosphere will probably be a bit somber.

yeah i think they mentioned that he was in a coma and then started to respond to the doctors but he lost so much blood that if he did come out of it we would have had brain damage. i cant imagine skins games now its gonna be so different.

Yeah it really is sad.

I can't say I am that up to date on everything that happened, but have the police determined this was a botched robbery? Seems like a home like Taylors would have alot of security in place, cameras, high fences etc. Any talk of foul play at all?

There was a break in a week ago, but they didn't take anything, and they didn't take anything this time. From what I've read he was targeted and they cut the phone line outside of the house. It wasn't random.

Either way, on behalf of Steelers fans everywhere, RIP.

Cowboys fan here but even though i hate the skins, my prayers go out to all his family and friends. i dont pay much attention to the skins, but i was reading that he was starting to turn his life around once his daughter was born. sucks to see anyone die so young especially leaving a child behind
