Just moved to VA from MD and heard about the tint law. Exactly how strict are they with it? I would hate to get my tint put on one day and have to peel it off the next.

all depends on the officer, as long as you are not an a-hole they are cool about it. Not really worth their time

Thats actually about avg. for this region.

Fresh Designs Inc is running the $130 forum special still and I think Car Toyz 2 is running a special as well Im just not sure exactly what the price was to be honest. But Im sure if you PM them they'd tell you. I think it's very close.

Avg. RETAIL Should be around 150-170 for a 2 door and 180 to 200 for a 4door. VA is known for being EXTREMELY overpriced. If he's offering you a "sale" for $180 to do a Z he's bending you over considering a Z is one of the easier cars to do and can be done from start to finish in about 30 mins.

well that $180 he told us was actually for a 4 door. I just got off the phone with him and we discussed prices in detail, for a 350Z cost to the customer is 140 + tax ... so i think we still have some good prices.

I took mine to Winners in Frederick. They have a place in Rockville too. I took my Acura there 4.5 years ago and it still looked good when I got rid of it so I told my gf to go there and then I took the Z there. I got 20% and it looks good.

depends on what your looking for if you want some tint that isnt going to draw a lot of attention from cops then 35% is good. if your looking to stay mysterious then do like 20% its pretty much what set up your doing.

30% is my personal favorite. Not too dark and not too light.
