I thought I would post up a few pics from the dyno day today.

Basically it ended up being more other cars than Zs but we got to check out a sweet 700+hp Z, 800+hp IS300, 700+hp rx-7, 1100 hp Supra, and my 1500hp(uncorrected) 07 350z stole the show.

It was good meeting a few new faces as well as hangin with the familiar ones.
Sorry I didnt take more Z pics but there werent many there and they were spread out and I was lazy and cold.

By the way Keith I got pulled over again on the way back.

Did anybody stick around to see krystof efantis and paul efantis max out the dyno at 1200 hp? It was all boost no nitrous. He said it made 1300+ at another shop.

Nice to meet up with everyone today.

congrats on the numbers guys.. Those HR engines are putting up some nice numbers.

I ended up making 280hp uncorrected and 270hp corrected with my 03 engine. I will post up the graph once they email them to us.

Thanks for the pics

Nice catching up even with the small Z crowd. Impressed with how strong the HRs were putting down.

There were some sick other cars there. Even the little Neon @ 400+ HP.

Did you just get a warning since you got one on the way in or another ticket? It's f'ked up if you got stuck twice.

Im pretty sure he jus was messing with me because he saw my car nosedive pretty hard. He couldn't get me for speeding so I guess he figured the license plate was all he had. He was cheesing pretty hard as I cruised past him at 65 and he pulled out and I said ok he's coming for me. As soon as he walked up to the window I handed him the Citation I got a few hours earlier and he said "get outta here" so it was about a 45 sec stop. My freind who was driving behind me called me and asked WTF? and i just said no questions lets get the hell outta here.

Wish I would of had more time to hang out, had to get out just after noon. Anyways, here is my dyno sheet and a quick phone pic of my car strapped down.
I was pleased with the results of the dyno. I had gained 20 hp and 18 tq since my last dyno and the changes to the car are exhaust w/test pipes and a tune.

Pull # 3 was the only good pull I had, here is why I say that. Pull #1 was left off just after 5500 rpm due to a ping noise. Pull # 2 was in third gear because we were worried about the ping noise. Pull # 3 was back to normal after we realized that the "ping" noise was the afr sensor clip faling off my exhaust.

Not the silver one the blue and red drag car. He made one pull and quit since the dyno couldnt go any higher.

I would put a new set of spark plugs in, that probably will clear it up. The dips are usually the engine misfiring or knocking.

You realize this is a brand new 07? It only has 10k miles on it. Im pretty sure unless something changed for 07 the interval for spark plugs cant be that short. Most new cars with platinum plugs are doing 60k-100k miles between changes. Of course correct me if im wrong but I need some reasoning behind that theory.

It doesn't matter if it's a 2007 or a 1947, the dips are from momentary lost in power while the car is trying to accelerate the dyno rollers. I looked at your graphs closers and the dips appear to be speed dependent (overlay your runs in speed instead of RPM), so that would rule out the spark plugs.
