Question Any apexi s-afc neo users here.....

I am thinking about getting a s-afc-neo here and wonder does anybody have any real experience with this in there Z or G. I have all the typical bolt ons including a kinetix ssv intake manifold and nitrous. Running n/a without spraying i seem to run in the 14.2-15.2 range on my wide band o2. This seems just a wee bit on the leaner side and i was wondering if i fatten up the fuel a bit with this neo and some dyno tuning could i get some real/useable horsepower. Any thoughts?......(i run a non-rev up,dont know if that matters)

I'd go with a greddy E-manage blue over the safc neo (similar in price), it's only really good for a display. The SAFC's tend to "trick" the stock ecu rather than re-program. Save your money and go UTEC that way if you have plans to boost you should be able to get a safe tune 6-10psi easily (probably more) with one.

I run a UTEC and I had it installed and tuned at www.functiontuned.com by Dave S. it was a great deal and done the same day.

See Aceman's write up about it, dyno numbers and all very well done. It definately lost power in his application.

I think you'd get better answers if you were to post this topic in the "MY350Z.COM Forums > Tech Area > Engine & Drivetrain > Tuning" forum instead of the Mid-A forum.
