keesler afb, in biloxi mississippi. I hate airports, especially if they don't have free wi-fi! thank god I have my phone!
I thought that Keesler AFB was destroyed years ago by a hurricane. Never knew that it was rebuilt. Spent 5 months there for Basic Electronics and Satellite Communications schools. After never having lived in the south, Mississippi was an eye opener. Definitely not my favorite state.
its up and running lol. I got to keesler on the 19th of Feb 2007 fresh out of basic, and spent 7 months there for basic electronics and then ground radio apprentice. now I'm back (almost, currently in memphis). not looking forward to it.
most of my family lives in mississippi though, from hattiesburg up. I was raised in hattiesburg (dad was a big wig at camp shelby) so I'm somewhat used to it here, but something about being on keesler, just sucks...
well, to my suprise, my room does have internet in it. It's not the greatest (300 down, 100 up) but I am not complaining about it, atleast I have something!
I'm not gonna lie, being back here has me homesick as ****, and that feeling sucks. I'll be over it in the next few days though. 50 days to go, counting down!

Very true, I just checked my email, and noticed I had a deposit of an xxxx amount of money. It was very nice! Though, I did just spend 1100 on the hotel for the 50 days, so looks like they didn't provide me enough, I'm not sure I can live/eat off of 400 bucks for the next 50 days, but I can sure try!
