Default Just Got Here and Already Starting with the Questions

What up? Just got my 06 Z about 6 weeks ago (moved on from an S4). I would tell you what trim it is but that remains a somewhat open question. It was advertised as a Touring but I got to the dealer and realized that it was really an Enthusiast with upgraded seats. I didn't mention my observation until we had negotiated a price and then I got them for a further price reduction at the end. The manager was pissed. Not at me but at who ever made the mistake in taking in the car. Good times. Anywho, I'm looking forward to coming out to some of the meets and what not and meeting some of the folks on the boards.

Now, the question; I just bought an AVIC D3 and would like suggestions on somewhere to have it installed in PG (I'm already aware of Fresh Designs in CP but wanted additional options) or NoVA. I was planning to have a guy over at Tweeter at Bailey's Xroads do it. Anyone ever dealt with a Tweeter install?

Oh, and one thing- the car is an automatic and I can't drive stick. I just thought I would get that out the way before I meet you guys and somebody starts giving me s**t when it comes up.

+1 for College Park! They installed the very same nav system for me and it looks and works perfectly after one year of getting the work done!

You're gonna hear it over and over, but Car Toyz 2 in Rockville.

Also, nothing wrong with driving auto, I have driven one for 2 years, and would continue to if I weren't getting such a steal on the next Z I am buying, so I just suggest 1 finger for people who hate on autos, cause they really don't know what they are talking about.

Car toyz 2 in rockville, md. I recommend sitting down with Arthur and going over your overgoal plans for the car. I did that when I first bought the Z and I must admit, it's one of the best things i've done.

an auto would help for track day. much easier to launch and more consistent for bracket racing.

Why not go to Fresh Designs. My buddy had his AVIC Z2 installed there and they did an awesome job. The mounting is prefect and not a scratch on the car anywhere...very professional.

Welcome.

As you can see you have more than one good option on where to have work done around here.

I would recommend either..so IMO it's going to come down to convenience and cost.

Thanks for the replies. You're right about convenience. The problem with Tweeter is that they claim it will take like five hours during which time I'm stuck in Bailey's Crossroads. I guess I could take a bus to Tysons to kill time but I would just rather have someone who can do it in a shorter time period.
