Just called the hotline and they are closed today but it says they will make a decision on the test and tune by 9am tomorrow so we wont know for sure till then. Weather.com shows that it should be clear in that area right now so by tomorrow it should be dry.

About 1/2 the crowd of a normal day... I only ran 17 laps. Some others did several if not many more. And the cold air was great for the cars.

More than moneys worth, I personally got 41 runs and couldve gotten much more but decided that it wasn't worth it. 41 runs for 25 bucks, thats a hell of a deal!!! Got a new PB too! Will post in drag section when I figure out how to fix my scanner. It was nice racing the hand-full of Zs that came out. And it was really nice meeting some new faces!

By the way Ahn was trying to get us all speeding tickets doing top speed runs on the way back!

Hey Guys,

Was alot of fun yesterday!!! Thanks to everyone for showing up. It looked like the Z's owned the track and even the anouncer was making jokes

Here is the link to my timeslips, I did improve but my 60ft needs more work

announcer: " hmmm, it looks like a 350Z vs. a Corvette....."
" I think the corvette will take this one......"

350Z: 13.09 at 113 mph (bigslim350Z)
Corvette: 12.92 at 108 mph (C5_vette )

victory goes to 350Z by .08 sec due to 350Z driver's excellent reaction time.

(Zain, what did you do to your car!!??)

EDIT: (being bored at work....)

using ricer math...... My best supercharger time at mason dixon was 13.4 at 110 mph while best supercharger time was 12.9 at 111.5 at capitol, so one would think that since I did 13.09 at 113 at mason dixon, I would get about 12.5xx at 115 mph at capitol .....on street tires, provided my axles don't break again.

First time in like 7 years.. I ran a civic back in the day .. have to start somewhere. LOL. Thanks! I got to do some hot laps there at the end (got 18 runs in) I think the car can prob do a 13.2ish every time I ran i felt like there was something I could have done WAY better - I had one good reaction time of .09 but the rest of them were like .3ish . If I can Manage to blend my .09 with my top speed of 105.4 and shift right, I think i can make it happen. Looks like i'll be rockin that dumb helmet all summer!

Since the reaction time does not effect the 1/4 times, I don't pay much attention to it. I like to concentrate on getting as much traction from my launch as I can. I don't plan on doing any actual bracket racing either, just run my car against my own PBs.

Enjoy your helmet.
