I say once everyone gets inside the park it's every man, woman and child for themselves. Unless half of them are pushed off the edge, 50+ cars will not fit on any of the overlooks. **** I don't think there will be enough parking at the diner.

 

initial meeting is at Bob Evans, and that's why I suggested doing this is groups of 15-20?

 

So what kind of speeds do you guys get up to on this trip? When I went with the Vette crew, we cruised at like 20 the whole time....

 

maybe we should make the initial meeting spot at a Home depot or a wal mart where theres alot more parking!

Hmmm, thats what I figured. I hear the cops are pretty bad sometimes. With a group of 30, it will be hard to get high in speed

 

Shiiiiiiit. Last fall I was behind the twin turbo G35 and Alberto after leaving from Bob Evans and it was 100+ for most of the way. We had some straights where we were 140+ for a good bit.

Ran outta room fast at Bob evans last May.

 

all types of speed... unfortunately on the way back i went like 130 past a undercover state trooper

 

Oh I got u, well yeh not in the park. There was some spirited driving but nothing high speed. One major reason is its a twisty road so there is no room to build speed and some of the areas have drop offs that make you think twice about doing something stooopid. Not to mention they have fed park rangers that can really put it in your a$$ for speeding.

he was pulling out to catch somebody when i flew past him... so he didnt clock me. got me for 23mph over the limit.

i went to court and everyone had a reckless charge and the judge reduced it to 19 over. i was the last one and the cop said he chased me for 5 miles! but since the judge reduced everyones fine he reduced mine too!!

 

dayum, that sucks. at least you got it reduced i guess.
