thermostate sticking??

Question thermostate sticking??

when im sitting with the heat on-the heat gets cooler..if i rev it,you notice that it gets hot again-then it will get cooler.I think the thermostate is sticking-unles anyone knows of another porblem this could be?it should be coverd under warranty.

bleed ur cooling system. the thermostat is opening but closing back up right away. dont think it would be sticking tho...

Yea... I've heard when that happens you should drain the coolant, put a twin turbo kit in, and then refill.

i agree you need twins then refill that will fix it but yea like steeeeez said flush it all otu and put all new back in

haha yea theres air in your system, make sure your coolent bottle has enough coolent and your not low and try bleeding it, that should fix it i had the same issue

If you need a thermostat, mine will be coming out in a week or so, whenever my Nismo shows up. I may be persuaded to let go of the Nismo for the right amount of rubles or pounds sterling

If you T-stat was sticking the problem would be backwards. Gets hot when stopped and colder when driving. I do agree, your might have some air in your system.

Quick bleed the system and see if that helps. The release valve is on the passenger side by the firewall. Feel the hoses for bubbles as well.

+1 on air in system. The factory bleeder sucks. Invest in a $20 spill funnel to bleed the system in 10 minutes!

where can i get that? i cannot stand bleeding Z's.. takes liek ****ing 40 minutes....

i got one of my techs doing it-i hope this works-im putting the plenum spacer back on tonight if it does-my car sounded so beast with it!
