what is wrong with you is a better question, it was his first trip to the track. the story may not lign up %100 but give him some slack. The track is open alot so I'm sure he will practice, a 16 sec. pass on my concience would drive me insane and I'd strive to do better.

read what he said. it paints a picture of a guy who can't drive a car, no matter where he is behind the wheel. telling him to maybe not add 150whp to his car is simply a caution. he can do what he wants.

notice I did not say a word about his times, nor do I care how fast or slow he was. my comment was just directed at his seemingly careless operation of his car. maybe I didn't phrase it so nicely, so sorry on that account my opinion stands.

I haven't run the Z at a track either, so I'm probably gonna hit up some 15s and 16s when I'm there for the first time...

 

i ran a 15.99 the first time at the track then the very next one was 13 flat but i still say he wasnt chirping 4th gear AFTER missing third!!!

 

well, i know what happened when i was in the car seeing as i was driving it, a chirp in 4th on a cold day in my mind seems entirely plausible (seeing as it did happen!) when i did not stage my car, warm up the tires and it was about 11am, but hey what do i know!??! my clutch could be slipping, but at only 16,000 miles?? who knows...

as for putting the twin turbo kit on adding all the power and "i cant drive", well i guess im going to have to find out the hard way. im still learning, putting the kit on my car has something i have wanted to do since i have owned the car. my ride, my mods!!!

no i dont plan on becoming an ultimate racer, weekend track person, or drifting. i just want to put the kit on it because well, i want to.

yes, the kit im putting on my car as with most turbo packages are made for track use so why am i dropping 10 grand for a car that will barely see track days....again, because i want to

if and when you hit the track please post your times, if you are willing to share, and maybe anyone else on here could learn something from your experience as i here have learned the lesson from mine: it takes practice!
